Makeup suggestions for performers:

Young dancers, 5-7 age range, some blush on cheeks, eyeliner if desired and mascara.

For lips: NO bright red!  Instead, blush, rose, burgundy, or mauve shades are best. We want lips to look naturally rosy.  See sample photo. This photo was taken at CVS. We like the fourth one from the left best. But any of these are good.

     

Once dancers are a little older, a foundation is best to keep blush and powders secure. Then line the eyes and add mascara. Same note for lips. Blue eye shadow is also discouraged.

Tans or plums are better.
